The Soleil is a linen blend shirt woven in a warm, multi-tone vertical stripe. The yellow and wine tones require careful washing to maintain their saturation and clarity. Hand wash in cool water or machine wash on a delicate cycle at no more than 30°C using a colour-preserving, mild detergent. Do not bleach or use fabric softeners that can weaken the linen fibres over time. Turn the shirt inside-out before washing. After washing, gently press out excess water and hang on a padded hanger to air dry in a shaded area direct sunlight will fade the yellow and wine tones over time. Iron on a medium-low heat while slightly damp, following the vertical stripe direction for the cleanest finish. The camp collar can be lightly pressed flat or steamed to maintain its open drape.
