Your data is stored on servers managed through our cloud hosting provider. Data in transit between your browser and our systems is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Access to personal data within Pakeru is restricted to authorised personnel only, on a need-to-know basis.
We maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Ghana is our primary data processing location.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third Parties We Share With
We share personal data with third parties only to the extent necessary to operate our services:
- Payment processors: Third-party payment services process your transaction data securely. We do not receive or store full card or mobile money account details.
- Shipping carriers: DHL Express and domestic logistics partners receive your delivery address and contact information to fulfil shipments.
- Cloud hosting: Vercel provides our hosting infrastructure and may process request data in the course of serving our application.
- Image CDN: Cloudinary manages and delivers product imagery.
- Analytics: We use analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you individually.
Specific third-party services are listed in our cookie settings and updated as our stack evolves. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. International Data Transfers
Pakeru serves customers across Ghana and the African diaspora in Europe, North America, and beyond. When your data is processed by our third-party service providers — including cloud hosting and shipping carriers — it may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Ghana.
