Product Care
Owning a piece of Pakeru is a commitment to preserving an artisanal legacy. Our premium linen is a living fiber that rewards careful attention with a softer, more distinguished character over time. To ensure this garment continues to uplift and signal your rare status, avoid harsh industrial processes and treat it with the quiet respect it commands.
Wash Instructions
- Delicate Cleansing: Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle using a pH neutral detergent to protect the integrity of the handmade fibers.
- Gentle Preservation: Never utilize bleach or optical brighteners, as these compromise the deep, organic hues of the Pakeru palette.
- Natural Air Dry: Avoid the tumble dryer entirely; instead, shake the garment to reshape and air dry in the shade to prevent fiber degradation.
- Artisanal Pressing: Iron while the linen is slightly damp on a high heat setting to achieve a crisp, authoritative finish.
- Bespoke Storage: Store your shirt on a wide, contoured hanger in a cool, dry environment to maintain the shoulder structure and allow the fabric to breathe.
- Starch: A light application of spray starch can be used on the leg crease for a more rigid, formal appearance.

HOW TO MEASURE
In order to select the correct clothing size, we recommend you take the following measurements using a soft tape measure. If necessary, ask someone else to help.

1. Neck
Pass the tape measure around the base of your neck, where a shirt collar would sit. Keep one finger between the tape and your skin so the collar has room to breathe.
2. Shoulder
Pass the tape measure straight across from the tip of one shoulder to the other, just above your shoulder blades. Keep your arms relaxed at your sides.
3. Chest
Pass the tape measure across your back, under your arms, and over the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape horizontal all the way around. It should sit snugly against your body, but should not be pulled too tight.
4. Sleeve Length
Keeping your arm straight by your side, measure from the tip of your shoulder, down the outside of your arm, to the base of your thumb.
5. Shirt Length
Stand upright and measure from the highest point of your shoulder, next to the base of your neck, straight down the front of your body to where you want the shirt to end.
